status: supersededSuperseded Wing
The lights are off up here on purpose. This wing holds the earlier consciousness claims: the version that said consciousness cannot be artificial and tried to prove it, written in a period the author now describes as believed at one point, has aged. Thirteen notes. None deleted. None current.
The rule of the house is that a superseded claim stays visible. If you want to know what the Study argues now, go back down. If you want to know what it argued before, and how far it moved, this is the room.
What is up here
supersededThe air-gapped proofThe claim that consciousness cannot be artificial, framed as a proof. Retired when the live work stopped needing it.
supersededHallucination-era materialDrafts from before the author had a way to check what a model told him. Kept as evidence of the period.
supersededCodex-era architectureAn older shape of the system, before the four-agent design. The gallery's section 2 is the replacement.
